In the Atlanta area, Whooping Cranes enjoy performing at a variety of concerts, festivals, clubs, and special events. The band also performs at private & corporate parties, wedding receptions, and at many colleges and also golf and country clubs in the region! This group is ready to play shows as a rock soul dance band, or groove-oriented alternative music band! They also enjoy playing original music shows as well! Even though they are playing mostly in the Southeast states of : AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, & TN, the band is spreading out further to build a larger audience. By 1999, the group added real horn players to the lineup for recording and for larger shows, concerts, & festivals. The band sends out an emailing list of their performance dates and continues to build a good following.

In Summer 2004, the Whooping Cranes invited you to come party by the pool in Georgia’s Lake Lanier Island at the Renaissance Pine Isle Resort every Saturday evening that summer. They were joined by STAR 94-FM Radio DJs. In Nov. 2004, this group headlined the American Cancer Society's Fundraiser in Gwinnett County of Atlanta. For the 2006 Mistletoe Jam, they opened the concert for rockabilly legend Sleepy LaBeef & Band. They performed many years for Atlanta's American Pie Memorial Day or Labor Day Bash. In Oct. 2010, Whooping Cranes rock band performed in their first appearance in Houston Texas at The Hideaway on Dunvale.

Whooping Cranes recently completed the recording of all songs for their upcoming full album-CD to be released in the very near future.
