Crucial Dread was a regularly featured band on the Budweiser ‘Celebration of the Century’ Stage during the ‘96 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA. The Band performed at the Book Signing Party for Jamaican writer Terry McMillan 'How Stella Got Her Groove Back' at Barnes & Noble/Atlanta. In concert as the opening show for the headlining band - Black Uhuru, and the audience called CRUCIAL DREAD back to the stage for several encore songs!

Concerts headlined: Decatur Arts Festivals, March of Dimes Walkathon Concert at Olympic Centennial Park, Annual Bob Marley B-day Bash, 17th Annual Atlanta Oyster Festival, Adopted Teens of GA A-TEAM shows, and concerts benefitting Our House-Shelter for Homeless Children in Decatur, GA.

Besides Concerts & Festivals the Group also performs for Corporate & Country Club events, Wedding Receptions, Fraternity/Sorority & College events, as well as Private Parties. (Booking references are available) Some recent events include: AFLAC, Atlanta Falcons, Best Buys, Visa Card Corp., Navision Software, WGCL-TV, Suntrust Bank, Wachovia Bank, AT&T, Bell South, MCI Corp., Home Depot, Urban League, Lake Lanier Islands, Chateau Elan, Clark U., GA Tech, U of GA, GSU, Agnes Scott College, Emory U., USCA, Clemson U., U of AL, Auburn U., including Star94 Radio/Hyatt New Year’s Eve Party, & 99X Radio ‘How the Grunge Stole Christmas’ Party. American Pie, CJ’s Landing, & Wild Wing Cafe, consider CRUCIAL DREAD as their first choice band for performing Tropical Parties and Special Events. For two years the band has performed at the Christmas Party for Air Jamaica in Atlanta. On a beautiful sunny day May 18, 2007, Crucial Dread performed for 92.9 Dave-Fm Radio's Event. This concert took place at Atlanta's Piedmont Park Tavern. The event featured Stephen & Damian 'Jr. Gong' Marley which included 13 performers from the Marley Family on the billing.

In recent times, Crucial Dread has performed: Smith's Old Bar in Atlanta; Frat parties in Atlanta, Athens, & Tuscaloosa; Bob Marley's Birthday party at Wild Wing Cafe in Alpharetta,GA & in Suwanee, GA; Summer Jam at Park Tavern in Atlanta's Piedmont Park; many Summer Friday nights at Paradise Grill in the heart of the band's home base in Decatur, GA; also including bookings in weddings, private events, and other regional shows.
